Demarco joined the board of in an effort to contribute to an organization he truly believes has the best interest of the community in mind. Growing up between Philadelphia and Miami, he himself has benefited enormously from programs aimed to develop and provide guidance to young black men. A former college football player at Temple University, shortly after graduation Demarco became involved with a non-profit organization aimed at helping other student-athletes reach their dreams of playing at the collegiate level.
He initially got involved with T.E.E.S. as a community volunteer, helping to organize the Youth Zone at the annual Overtown Arts & Music Festival. He began by providing fitness & nutrition programming to teach the youth about how to take care of their bodies, he now aims to make a larger contribution to T.E.E.S. as a board member and help continue their mission to change lives.
